Travancore Dental College is situated in the District of Kollam in the State of Kerala. It’s a newly established institution for dental education. Being the newest among the institutions, it has become one of the centers of students who are hopeful of becoming dentists within a very short time frame. This institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and is a constituent of the Kerala University of Health Sciences. This recognition enables its observers that required standards are observed in the training of dentists in this institution.

In general its established program of undergraduate training consists of five years, which includes internship of one year. States Travancore Dental College has a yearly intake slump of about fifty students per year. This allows students of the college to interact closely with the teaching staff as the class size is small. All admissions to the Medical College are through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance exam. This is necessary to ensure that only qualified candidates are chosen.
