King George's Medical University, situated in the historic city of Lucknow, India, was established in 1905, with the foundation stone laid by King George V, the Prince of Wales. Campus and Facilities

The university campus, spread over approximately 100,000 sq. meters, comprises a conglomeration of buildings housing various departments, notable buildings including the Administrative Block, Anatomy and Physiology buildings, and the Central Library.

The campus also features the Centenary Hospital Complex, a Scientific Convention Center, hostels, a guest house, and several essential facilities such as banks, post office, cafeteria, public call office, drug shops, and police outpost.

Academic Programs

KGMU offers a four and a half year MBBS course with a one-year compulsory rotating internship, along with more than 28 postgraduate courses and 13 doctoral courses in various specializations including medical sciences, dental sciences, paramedical sciences, nursing, and more.
