Government Medical College, Haldwani, formerly known as Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust Medical College, is a prominent medical institution located in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. Established in 1997, the college was initially founded under the aegis of the Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust and later assumed its current name in 2010 when it was taken over by the Department of Medical Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The institution is affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), ensuring its adherence to high standards in medical education.
