Government Medical College, Siddipet, also known as Siddipet Medical College, is a government medical institution situated in Siddipet, Telangana, India. The college was officially established on June 1, 2018, and is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.

History

The college was inaugurated on June 3, 2018, after a rapid construction period of just over five and a half months. It received permission from the Medical Council of India in January 2018, allowing it to start its first academic session in 2018-2019 with an intake of 150 students. The college and its associated hospital are spread over 50 acres and were constructed at a cost of ₹700 crores.

Hospital Facilities

The attached hospital, originally a 100-bed facility, was upgraded to a 300-bed hospital to support the medical college. The hospital includes various facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, and a library, providing comprehensive educational and practical training resources for medical students.

The college aims to offer high-quality medical education and healthcare services, contributing significantly to the region's medical infrastructure. It does not currently offer undergraduate courses like B.Sc. MLT, focusing instead on its MBBS program.
