Dharanidhar Medical College & Hospital (DDMCH), located in Kendujhar, Odisha, is a premier government medical institution established in 2022. Previously known as Government Medical College and Hospital, Kendujhar, DDMCH is affiliated with the Odisha University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. The foundation stone of the college was laid by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Pattnaik, on November 2, 2016, with the aim of improving the doctor-population ratio by utilizing the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH), Keonjhar, as the teaching hospital.

The college is situated in a sprawling campus covering 44.40 acres in the main town of Keonjhar, approximately 5 kilometers from the college campus. The teaching hospital adjacent to the medical college has a capacity of 385 beds distributed among various clinical departments, catering to the health services of the district and nearby areas. DDMCH offers an undergraduate program in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), with an annual intake capacity of 100 students. Selection to the program is based on merit through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). In addition to the existing facilities, the college also boasts a 650-capacity auditorium, external development features such as parking, sports facilities, roads, drains, and essential plants for sewage treatment, water treatment, and effluent treatment.
